Ripple (XRP) fans may have something to look forward to on the adoption front in Europe, as Luxembourg’s Minister of Finance, Pierre Gramegna, has hinted that Luxembourg will soon receive Ripple’s exposure.

This Ripple exposure teaser was revealed after Gramegna posted a photo of himself shaking hands with Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen on Twitter, stating that Europe would soon be seeing Ripple developments:

What Kind of Exposure Will Ripple Be Getting?

There is very little information regarding this development, as the tweet above is the only announcement thus far. We are still waiting on further details about a specific deal/talk between Larsen and Gramegna to get a clear picture of what’s going on.

However, it’s highly speculated that some sort of Ripple-backed upgrades will be deployed across Luxemburg and Europe.

Apart from Larsen’s deal/talks with Luxembourg’s Minister of Finance, the Luxembourg Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (LPEA) recently issued a paper titled, “Security Tokens – Legal Aspects” which had a positive take on XRP, labeling it a token and not a security.

An excerpt from the paper mentioning XRP read:

“Payment tokens are virtual or cryptocurrencies (this is, for instance, the case of Bitcoin or Ripple), i.e. tokens intended to be used, now or in the future, as means of payment for acquiring goods or services or as means of money or value transfer.”

Therefore, we can expect the Larsen and Gramegna deal/talk to be quite positive for Ripple and its XRP token.

Ripple and XRP Exposure

Moreover, Larsen recently made mainstream headlines after he announced a massive $25 million XRP donation to San Francisco State University (SFSU). The donation marks the largest ever cryptocurrency donation to a United States university.

All in all, it appears Larsen is on a mission to push for widespread exposure of both Ripple and its cryptocurrency token XRP. Also, we can expect his deal with Luxembourg’s Minister of Finance to be even bigger and better for Ripple, as it will be more than a simple XRP donation.
